Hi, ho! #TeamChatterBlast rides again! This year marks our THIRD year participating in the annual MS City to Shore bike ride and we’re super pumped. All summer, we’ve been biking through the streets of Philly, along Kelly Drive and, most recently, over the Ben Franklin Bridge. Although we’ve been training hard, we’ve also been busy fundraising.

We’re raising the bar for ourselves this year and aiming to fundraise $30k for the National MS Society. We know, you probably think we’re crazy, but last year we raised well over $25k, putting us in one of the top fundraiser spots. With your help, we know we can achieve our ambitious goal. Please visit our team page and donate today. No amount is too small, or too large for that matter.

With only a few more days until the ride, #TeamChatterBlast is ready to brace the 80 miles all in the name of ending MS. With excitement, anticipation and a few nerves, see what #TeamChatterBlast members have to say about this year’s ride!

“I’m excited to ride in the MS City to Shore Ride again because it’s just an incredible experience. Riding with friends and co-workers and all for a good cause. Last year was my first time and my favorite part about it was enjoying a beautiful day on my bike through the back roads on New Jersey and seeing my fiancée, mom and dad at the finish line in Ocean City. I haven’t had nearly as much time to train this year, so that makes me a little nervous, but I’m confident I’ll be alright!”

—Kurt Gies, second year rider

“I remember getting to the PATCO stop last year and having it hit me, just how many people come together to make this day happen. I’m excited to get back there this year to feel that sense of community drive for a better tomorrow.”

—Eric Crawford, second year rider

“Last year I was completely surprised by how moved I was and how much of an impact this event has on millions of people all over the country. This year I am super excited to once again make a difference in someone’s life and ready for the challenge this ride has in store!”

—Craig Beyerle, Captain and second year rider

“Year two: I’m looking to beat my personal time from last year and raise awareness about MS. At the same time, making a note to avoid bee stings at all cost and gain one last tan. #CoolFortheSummer”

—Jackie Kollar, second year rider

“I am so proud of my entire ‘work family’ — everyone is really stepping up and helping raise some big money while biking! We are a biking company, and I am so proud of all the Blasters for embracing this event and riding their asses off.”

—Matt Ray, Captain and third year rider

“I’m excited to challenge myself with such a long ride and hope the expensive, padded bike shorts I recently purchased save me from days of pain and soreness.”

—Joey Conicella, first year rider

“This is my first year riding, so I have a TON of thoughts spinning through my head. I’m hoping to accomplish a few things: 1. Making it the 80 miles. 2. Having a great day with all of CBM and most importantly, 3. Raising awareness and helping put an end to MS.’

—Jess Meeder, first year rider

“The BikeMS ride and #TeamChatterBlast have turned something which would normally be thought of as impossible into an enjoyable character and team-building experience. While I’m not ready to try out the Century yet, my main goal for year two is to cross the finish line again. And those bridges are not something to be excited about, though Matt’s playlist is.”

—Cory Heiler, second year rider

“I’m always excited for the ride and love the early morning start, the energy of 7,000 people riding together and the feeling at the finish line.”

—Evan Urbania, Captain and third year rider
