Intern Program

The ChatterBlast Media intern program, affectionately dubbed the Junior Blasters, is an opportunity for undergraduates to work in a fast-paced and collaborative agency in a variety of roles. CBM leadership will work with colleges to ensure students receive college credit in applicable programs. Junior Blasters have the opportunity to work directly with all agency staff, including the CEO and Creative Director.

Many of our interns have gone on to full-time positions within our agency and have been recommended for various positions in the regional marketing/advertising arena. If you're dynamic, disruptive, and disciplined, this is an internship for you. Interns should be available for 15 to 20 hours per week in our offices, have their own laptops and have stellar skills for one of the following roles.

We’re looking for an exemplary wordsmith to help craft marketing and advertising messages that are as disruptive as they are unique. We want people who truly do think out-of-the-box, the kind of person with a multi-colored resume and who writes Flyers fanfic.

If you’re a marketing, advertising, or public relations person – be prepared to show creative copy that is not hampered by the constraints or judgments of those tired, boring, old institutions.

Students with backgrounds and experiences in: creative writing, song writing, poetry, improve, theater, and comedy – YOU all should apply. Students with different point of views, unusual voices, wacky thoughts, wild ideas, and untapped dreams are going to the FRONT of the line.

You’re going to write… You’re going to write a lot…. You’re going to make the boring into exciting, the uninteresting into the fascinating. You’re going to make people pay attention to you.

You will get incredible portfolio experience, great references, an incredibly fun and relaxed work environment and an amazing team of mentors, teachers and collaborators.

In addition to a resume and cover letter, include an original 300-400 word writing sample in a separate document. Tell us a story. It can be about anything, even about that thing that happened to you one time. Make us laugh, or cry, or pump our fists, but most importantly, make us feel.



  • Generate creative content for a variety of clients including Facebook and Twitter posts and blog entries.
  • Manage content calendars, including edits and scheduling entries.
  • Concept, develop and implement creative campaigns across a variety of networks and clients.
  • Develop and implement specific voice and tone for a variety of clients and projects.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • The ability to write and self-edit.
  • Knowledge of proper grammar and spelling is a must.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent voice through a variety of different content types (blogs, FB posts, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform under a deadline.
  • Open to constructive feedback.

Video Editor

ChatterBlast is seeking a rockstar video editor and shooter to assist in the creation of groundbreaking multimedia content for both us and our ever-growing roster of clients. We want someone who thinks outside the box. Someone with wild ideas, who visualizes everything, and appreciates the art of the green screen. Future Spielbergs and Bigelows should apply.

You – our ideal candidate – have experience and a body of work in video shoots, production, and editing. You also have a background in video editing, pre- and post production, a passion for coming up with new ways to WOW audiences. You can adapt the “go big or go home” mentality when it comes to the development of creative ideas.  You like to have fun, learn new things, and offer your own views.

In this role, you will work side by side with our full-time multimedia designer. You will get incredible portfolio experience, great references, an incredibly fun and relaxed work environment and an amazing team of mentors, teachers and collaborators. This is a paid position.

  • Assist with concept idealization for videos that will be created for variety of networks and clients
  • Assist with pre- and post-production
  • Involvement with idea creation and execution for company video needs
  • Assist multimedia team in post-production environment
  • Assist with camera work, lighting design, audio capture, and more in both scripted and unscripted settings

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • A keen eye for detail and a critical mind
  • Creativity and a passionate interest in film and video editing
