Account Coordinator

The role of Account Coordinator at ChatterBlast Media is an entry-level position within the company’s account team. This role is designed to provide account support to the account management team and client list.

This role is 60% internal and 40% client facing, and requires a creative, enthusiastic and detail-oriented approach. You are punctual and happy to work collaboratively. You are a communicator, excellent listener and curious.


  • Support the account team and deliver on client expectations and needs on a consistent basis
  • Support the account management team with a focus on client service and project trafficking
  • Track and maintain campaigns between a handful of clients, at different stages
  • Track internal and external progress to complete project deliverables
  • Manage daily posting schedule for digital content across all networks
  • Manage monitoring and engagement tools to respond and track online conversation and campaign success
  • Manage online interaction within social, blog and forum communities through third-party tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, ShortStack, Brandwatch)
  • Complete projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
  • Interpret client goals and work with the creative team to concept and implement creative strategies
  • Work with creative team to implement strategies based on client objectives and goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Promote the expansion of business with existing clients with innovative ideas and timely input on upcoming and existing client projects

Experience / Skills Required:

  • 1-2 years of digital media experience through coursework and internships.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in social media, displays a full understanding of each network, and maintains a curiosity for what’s next.
  • Experience with analytic, monitoring and scheduling systems (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, ShortStack, Brandwatch).
  • Proactive communicator and problem solver.
  • Strong creative background including: writing, concepting and storytelling.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in advertising, communications, marketing, media studies, business and/or related fields.

Intern Program

The ChatterBlast Media intern program, dubbed affectionately the Junior Blasters, is an opportunity for undergraduates to work in a fast-paced and collaborative agency in a variety of roles. CBM leadership will work with colleges to ensure students receive college credit in applicable programs. Junior Blasters have the opportunity to work directly with all agency staff, including the CEO and Creative Director.

Many of our interns have gone on to paid positions within our agency, as well as being recommended for various positions in the regional marketing/advertising arena. If you're dynamic, disruptive, and disciplined - this is an internship for you. Interns should be available for 15 to 20 hours per week in our offices, have their own laptops and have stellar skills for one of the following roles.

We’re looking for an exemplary wordsmith to help craft marketing and advertising messages that are as disruptive as they are unique. We want people who truly do think out-of-the-box, the kind of person with a multi-colored resume and who writes Flyers fanfic.

If you’re a marketing, advertising, or public relations person – be prepared to show creative copy that is not hampered by the constraints or judgments of those tired, boring, old institutions.

Students with backgrounds and experiences in: creative writing, song writing, poetry, improve, theater, and comedy – YOU all should apply. Students with different point of views, unusual voices, wacky thoughts, wild ideas, and untapped dreams are going to the FRONT of the line.

You’re going to write… You’re going to write a lot…. You’re going to make the boring into exciting, the uninteresting into the fascinating. You’re going to make people pay attention to you.

You will get incredible portfolio experience, great references, an incredibly fun and relaxed work environment and an amazing team of mentors, teachers and collaborators.

In addition to a resume and cover letter, include an original 300-400 word writing sample in a separate document. Tell us a story. It can be about anything, even about that thing that happened to you one time. Make us laugh, or cry, or pump our fists, but most importantly, make us feel.



  • Generate creative content for a variety of clients including Facebook and Twitter posts and blog entries.
  • Manage content calendars, including edits and scheduling entries.
  • Concept, develop and implement creative campaigns across a variety of networks and clients.
  • Develop and implement specific voice and tone for a variety of clients and projects.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • The ability to write and self-edit.
  • Knowledge of proper grammar and spelling is a must.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent voice through a variety of different content types (blogs, FB posts, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform under a deadline.
  • Open to constructive feedback.
