Ads & Analytics Coordinator

We’re looking for someone with a passion for making numbers work and getting results. The Advertising & Analytics Coordinator will execute full client campaign cycles, from client introductions to strategy to ad placement and reporting. They’ll learn what works, what doesn’t, and will use data to drive the best results for clients. They’ll carry out the basic functions of the department and ensure quality of delivery.

This position is open to college students looking for experience as well as seasoned vets looking to shift career tracks. This unique opportunity allows for an excellent chance to grow your experience in a high-demand field, is ideal for entry-level candidates, and has pathways to become a full time position in the future. Responsibilities:

  • Gather materials for ads, place ads, monitor and optimize ads, notify team once ads are near/at completion.
  • Maintain budget documents, ensure client’s budget goals are met and pacing appropriately.
  • Spot organic and paid trends, gather data, develop insights and analyze performance.
  • Build and maintain client reports, maintain client optimization records and track YTD progress to ensure clients are moving forward.
  • Conduct detailed competitive analyses upon request for clients and prospective business verticals.
  • Research and evaluate content, advertising and audience opportunities.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Background in media buying, planning or traditional commercial traffic
  • Knowledge of social and programmatic advertising methods and tactics
  • 1-2 years experience in digital marketing
  • Experience or minor in an analytical field

Requirements:

  • Part-time contractor, 15-20 hours per week at our Center City office and access to your own laptop computer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Advertising or a related field.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, other standard business products.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for gathering data to analyze and tell a great story.

Video & Editing Coordinator

You – our ideal candidate – have experience and/or interest in video shoots, production, and editing.  You also have a background in video editing, pre- and post production, a passion for coming up with new ways to WOW audiences. You can adapt the “go big or go home” mentality when it comes to the development of creative ideas.  You like to have fun, learn new things, and offer your own views.

In this role, you will work side by side with our full-time multimedia designer. You will get incredible portfolio experience, great references, an incredibly fun and relaxed work environment and an amazing team of mentors, teachers and collaborators. This is a paid position.

  • Lead video shoots for both client projects and company marketing efforts

Intern Program

The ChatterBlast Media intern program, affectionately dubbed the Junior Blasters, is an opportunity for undergraduates to work in a fast-paced and collaborative agency in a variety of roles. CBM leadership will work with colleges to ensure students receive college credit in applicable programs. Junior Blasters have the opportunity to work directly with all agency staff, including the CEO and Creative Director.

Many of our interns have gone on to full-time positions within our agency and have been recommended for various positions in the regional marketing/advertising arena. If you're dynamic, disruptive, and disciplined, this is an internship for you. Interns should be available for 15 to 20 hours per week in our offices, have their own laptops and have stellar skills for one of the following roles.

Video Editing

ChatterBlast is seeking a rockstar video editor and shooter to assist in the creation of groundbreaking multimedia content for both us and our ever-growing roster of clients. We want someone who thinks outside the box. Someone with wild ideas, who visualizes everything, and appreciates the art of the green screen. Future Spielbergs and Bigelows should apply.

Copywriting

We’re looking for an exemplary wordsmith to help craft marketing and advertising messages that are as disruptive as they are unique. We want people who think outside of the box—the kind of people with multi-colored resumes and write Flyers fanfic.

If you’re a marketing, advertising, or public relations person, be prepared to show creative copy that is not hampered by the constraints or judgments of those tired, boring, old institutions.

Students with backgrounds and experiences in English, journalism creative writing, songwriting, poetry, improv, theater, and comedy: YOU all should apply. Students with different points of view, unusual voices, wacky thoughts, wild ideas, and untapped dreams are going to the FRONT of the line.

Account Management

We’re looking for an account management intern with the professionalism to deal with local and national level clients as well as the moxie to roll up their sleeves with our account team to deal with keeping all manner of day-to-day operations on track.

You should be hyper-organized with high attention to detail and a passion for social media, marketing and advertising. You’ll have plenty of client-facing opportunities, and the ability to contribute to the planning and execution of a variety of creative projects across all of our accounts. Responsibilities:

  • Sit in on key client meetings and calls and develop notes, next steps and key takeaways
  • Gather peer, competitor and client research to help inform creative briefs
  • Take an active role in account organization, project management and asset and resource tracking
  • Work with our creative team to help move assignments through the creative process to secure on time delivery for clients
  • Help organize, run and re-cap internal brainstorms for creative campaigns, content campaigns, ad plans and new business
  • Maintain monthly hourly reporting for all clients
  • Research new account opportunities, partnerships and collaborations
  • Research and report on creative campaigns for planning purposes for creative and advertising campaigns
  • Conduct influencer research and help establish engagement plans
  • Research potential clients, partners & opportunities according to the CBM business development plan

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • In-depth knowledge of social platforms and the specific functions of each as they relate to marketing
  • Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance good insights with short deadlines

Ads & Analytics

We’re looking for someone with a passion for making numbers work and getting results. The Advertising & Analytics Intern will learn the ropes of advertising, from client introductions to strategy to ad placement and reporting. They’ll learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to use data to drive results for real clients.

  • Basic reporting duties: compiling reports on Sprout, saving for review
  • Update pacing charts for each client each morning: amount spent, impressions, results
  • Place CBM blog boost ads and various client boosts/ads as needed
  • Send out ad pacing updates twice a week
  • Attend bi-weekly ads/analytics training sessions open to all staff (8 sessions)
  • Assist in compiling industry standard data for CBM’s 2019 Cross Channel/Cross Tactic Benchmark Report
