Senior Account Manager

The role of Sr. Account Manager at ChatterBlast Media is a primary position in the company’s account team. This role is designed to manage the company’s expanding client list and lead special projects. This individual will manage a team made up of account executive(s), coordinator(s) and intern(s), while mentoring other account managers.

This role is client-facing and requires a creative, deadline-driven and detail-oriented approach. You have a passion for digital trends and understanding of B2C and B2B marketing, social networks and brands. You are an organized and proactive team leader. You know how to act with integrity, exercise strong judgment, and have a keen foresight on clients’ needs before they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus to grow relationships with clients to ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Develop processes to streamline project planning, management and campaign execution
  • Manage and deliver on client expectations and needs on a consistent basis
  • Manage and mentor the internal account team with a focus on client services and project management
  • Mentor and track internal account team’s professional growth
  • Oversee internal and external progress to complete project deliverables
  • Maintain accountability for managing projects: budgets, hours, timelines, deliverables and results
  • Oversee the full project life cycle including: account kick-off, work orders, creative briefs, implementation and reporting
  • Work directly with the creative director and strategy director to build out team (account and creative)
  • Interpret client goals and work directly with creative, ads and reporting teams to conceptualize and implement creative strategies
  • Drive CBM brand awareness, and uncover additional opportunities for growth
  • Regularly meet with the executive team to discuss client successes and challenges
  • Drive the expansion of business with new and existing clients with innovative ideas and timely input on projects
  • Drive clients and the agency, both creatively and strategically

Experience / Skills Required:

  • 7 years of digital media experience, ideally in an agency, marketing or consulting environment
  • Undergraduate degree in advertising, communications, marketing, media studies, business and/or related fields
  • Background in social media, full understanding of each network, and curiosity for what’s next
  • Proficient with analytics, monitoring and scheduling systems (HootSuite, Sprout Social, ShortStack, Brandwatch)
  • Proficient in time management, tracking and internal management tools (Harvest, Slack, Basecamp)
  • Proactive communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong creative background including writing, conceptualizing and storytelling
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to run presentations and client meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively as a team leader
Account Manager

Intern Program

The ChatterBlast Media intern program, affectionately dubbed the Junior Blasters, is an opportunity for undergraduates to work in a fast-paced and collaborative agency in a variety of roles. CBM leadership will work with colleges to ensure students receive college credit in applicable programs. Junior Blasters have the opportunity to work directly with all agency staff, including the CEO and Creative Director.

Many of our interns have gone on to full-time positions within our agency and have been recommended for various positions in the regional marketing/advertising arena. If you're dynamic, disruptive, and disciplined, this is an internship for you. Interns should be available for 15 to 20 hours per week in our offices, have their own laptops and have stellar skills for one of the following roles.

Graphic Design

ChatterBlast is seeking a rockstar graphic designer to help in the creation of groundbreaking multimedia content for both us and our ever-growing roster of clients. We want someone who thinks outside the box. Someone with wild ideas, who visualizes everything, and appreciates the art of meme culture.

You–our ideal candidate–have experience and a body of work in graphic design and light video editing. You can adapt the “go big or go home” mentality when it comes to the development of creative ideas.  You like to have fun, learn new things, and offer your own views.

In this role, you will work side by side with our full-time multimedia designer. You will get incredible portfolio experience, great references, an amazing team of mentors, teachers and collaborators all in an incredibly fun and relaxed work environment. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creating various design deliverables, including custom visual assets for social sites supporting visuals for creative content for all clients
  • Create visual assets for internal needs such as reports, presentation decks, social content and seasonal campaigns
  • Create designs, icons and layouts that adhere to and extend the company brand
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment
  • Networking and assisting with outside partners and vendors, including branding agencies, public relations firms, graphic design teams, and web development organizations

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of all of Creative Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
  • Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting tight deadlines
  • Tapped into all things social
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Video Editing

ChatterBlast is seeking a rockstar video editor and shooter to assist in the creation of groundbreaking multimedia content for both us and our ever-growing roster of clients. We want someone who thinks outside the box. Someone with wild ideas, who visualizes everything, and appreciates the art of the green screen. Future Spielbergs and Bigelows should apply.

You—our ideal candidate—have experience and a body of work in video shoots, production, and editing. You also have a background in video editing, pre- and post production, and a passion for coming up with new ways to WOW audiences. You can adapt the “go big or go home” mentality when it comes to the development of creative ideas. You like to have fun, learn new things, and offer your own views.
