#Run4UrLife is back for the third year in a row and promises to be even more frightening than the thought of getting in back in shape. This 3K fun run, hosted by our friends over at MANNA and once again sponsored by a handful of notable Philly institutions, will take place on next Saturday at the historic West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Other than the fact that you’re charitable human being, why should you participate? Well here are three reasons you need to #Run4UrLife.

If you’re the type of person that hangs on to summer as long as possible (I’m talkin’ to you, Mr. Flip-Flops-in-50-Degree-Weather), then you might need a little extra help getting into the spooky spirit. Running from a ghoulish cast of characters known as the “Scare Crew” is the perfect way to embrace the mischievous nature of Halloween. Oh, and all of the recent creepy clown drama promises to inject the run with a new, adrenaline-inducing concern that those Scare Crew members might actually try and kidnap you. (Editor’s Note: We are totally kidding right here.)

By deciding to #Run4UrLife you’re not only supporting local people battling life-threatening illnesses, you’re supporting local businesses as well! More than your average 3K
If you’d rather stuff your face with Halloween-themed treats and approach the run as a post-snackin’ stroll, you can do that too! The Fall Festival starts at 4 p.m. (the run kicks off at 6) giving you plenty of time to sample a variety of hard cider and beer, decorate pumpkins, play games and participate in a variety of other family-friendly activities.
