It’s hard to believe, but in fall 2024, we celebrated the first anniversary of the grand opening of our sister studio, GroundFloor Studios. Made for creatives, by creatives, GroundFloor Studios is a multipurpose, 2,000 square foot production studio in the heart of Center City that we share with our partners at Big Picture Alliance (BPA). (Read more about the story of GroundFloor Studios here.)

In addition to all of the great work produced by rental clients and BPA, the ChatterBlast team has developed, shot, and launched a stellar lineup of multimedia content in the studio in 2024. Here are just a few of our greatest hits from our first full year on the ground floor.

Penn & Philly “Your Stories”

The University of Pennsylvania

In January 2024, the University of Pennsylvania officially launched Penn & Philly, a communications campaign illuminating Penn’s social and economic impact on the city of Philadelphia. As primary strategists on the project since its inception, we’ve been closely involved every step of the way, but we knew the series needed a creative centerpiece that would put real, human stories of impact front and center.

We developed “Your Stories,” an episodic video series that demonstrates the myriad of ways that Penn and Philly collaborate. Each video tells the story of a collaboration by pairing a Penn stakeholder with a community member involved with the project and allowing both parties to converse back and forth about their partnership and experiences.

It was a pleasure to welcome so many local leaders and vibrant voices into our studio to explore their stories and learn how their work makes Philadelphia an even better place. We’re extra thrilled and honored that “Your Stories” won a Ladle award at the Public Relations Society of America Philadelphia chapter’s 2024 Pepperpot Awards. Watch the full series here

For the Love of the Game

Lundy Law

When it comes to passion, few things match Philly’s love for sports—except, perhaps, Lundy Law’s love for winning. That shared spirit of grit, determination, and heart was the driving force behind “For the Love of the Game,” a sports-themed ad campaign that brought together two of Philadelphia’s most cherished institutions: Eagles football and top-tier legal advocacy.

The concept was simple but powerful: spotlight the parallels between winning on the field and winning in the courtroom. With Leonard and Jordan Lundy as the faces of the campaign, the ads aimed to show that just like the Eagles, Lundy Law thrives on preparation, precision, and perseverance.

Our role? Take their script and vision, then bring it to life with a healthy dose of creative improvisation. We hit the ground running at GroundFloor Studios, blending fast-paced energy with slick production to craft four unique 15-second spots. These quick bursts of Philly pride capture the electric energy of game day and channel it straight into every ad.

If you’ve been tuned into Eagles pre- and post-game coverage this season, chances are you’ve seen the final results. Punchy, passionate, and undeniably Philly, these ads aren’t just about the game—they’re about a commitment to excellence in every arena.

With the love of the game as their north star, Lundy Law continues to win—on the airwaves and in the courtroom.

When our friends at the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation told us they were launching a line of Philadelphia-inspired candles, we couldn’t wait to get them into GroundFloor Studios. To support the line’s launch, we conducted a photo shoot using our seamless rack white paper backdrop—and with plenty of creatively curated props and decorations to bring each candle’s distinct ambiance to life. The final shots even made it to NBC Philadelphia!

The candles are now available at the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation’s four locations and at their booth at the Christmas Village in Philadelphia. Your holiday shopping just got easier!

The Route is Right

The University of Pennsylvania

Our longtime friends and clients at Penn’s Business Services Division came to us with a need for a video to help the campus community understand how to navigate the Penn Transit system in the most efficient way possible. Knowing that delivering this sort of instructional information could get stale fast, we set out to brainstorm a creative, entertaining take on the subject matter, which led us to the idea of a game show.

We worked with the client to cast students and develop the script and storyboard before heading to the studio to film in front of the green screen. Finally, our video and design teams collaborated to edit together the final product, complete with sound effects, animations, and informative graphics. Who ever said giving directions had to be boring?

Musical Magic

George Alley

When our friend George Alley released his self-titled debut album this fall, he headed to GroundFloor Studios to film a series of stunning music videos for his songs “XRAY,” “Choice to Be Bad,” and more. We loved getting to push the creative boundaries of our studio to fit the aesthetic and vision for each song.

George and his band then returned to the studio to film a series of live performances, which we had the pleasure of sharing during a special Pride Month screening event with friends and fans. Studio, music venue, and event space—GroundFloor Studios can really do it all.

Whether you need help turning a bright idea into a full-fledged creative production or you just need the space to bring it to life yourself, ChatterBlast and GroundFloor Studios can help. Explore our creative services and get in touch, or book our space here
