Riding off the coat-tails of my Mothers Day blog (all of my Daenerys predictions were wrong BTW), I thought I’d continue the theme and highlight some of the cultural dads we all look up to on social media for Father’s Day! And, since it’s Pride month, I thought I would make it exclusively about gay dads!

Andy Cohen – The New Dad!
Celebrity BFF to the stars, Andy Cohen, has solidified his place in pop culture after giving us some of the best reality TV with the Real Housewives franchise – fight me on that! But, when he’s not hanging out with Bethenny Frankel, SJP, or John Mayer, Andy is hanging with his new baby, Benjamin(via surrogate).

Even though baby Benjamin is already more stylish and cool than most of us (check out these Fendi pants), the new dad is not taking any risks in the “cool department.” Baby Benjamin is already getting introduced to his dad’s celebrity friends, rubbing elbows with the likes of Mark Consuelos and Uncle Anderson(Anderson Cooper)! Can I switch places with him?!?

Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent – The Artsy Dads
If you are just like me and love home renovations shows and Oprah, then you’re sure to have come across this power reno-duo: Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent! Not only are they two of them amazing (at creating fake emergencies for some drama) on their show, but they’re actually great designers that produce magazine-ready rooms that we want to throw ourselves into to relax our days away in luxury.

And, as if their lives couldn’t look more perfect on social media, they’re also the dads to two adorable children, Poppy and Oskar. Balancing their work lives while maintaining perfectly white furniture with kids can’t be easy, but the two dads do a great job of making us believe it is! They give us something to strive for!

Ricky Martin & Ywan Josef – The Sultry Dads
I remember a young Ricky Martin hitting the pop scene in 1999 with the song “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” but I knew him even BEFORE that from his 1994 stint as an actor on General Hospital since my mom religiously watched that show! LOL! But, if there is one thing that has stayed consistent over all this time is that Ricky Martin (and now his Syrian Swedish painter husband Ywan Josef), ooze sex appeal.

Whether they are on the beach, attending a society event like HRH Princess Eugenie’s wedding, or just being dads to their three children: twins Matteo & Valentino and daughter Lucía, the two know how to look sharp. Though we know they probably have 14 housekeepers, 11 personal chefs, and 24 nannies, they make being parents and artists look easy!
