The Sun East Federal Credit Union was first chartered in 1949, by Sun Oil Company employees looking to help each other with their financial needs. Now, Sun East serves the financial needs of more than 52k members throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey. In 2020, we were brought on to refresh their social media strategy to appeal to younger generations and to generate more membership leads through digital efforts.
The Challenge
Sun East needed a new social media strategy not only to engage new generations of members, but also to educate these users about the value of both credit unions and financial literacy. Our creative approach had to adhere to the standards of this highly regulated industry, while also turning financial education into something thumb-stopping and easy-to-digest in 15 seconds.

The Results
Through our strategy and creative services, we have upgraded the visual tone of Sun East’s social media channels, improving the overall member experience in the digital space. Our asset production and lead generation efforts have also led to more membership application submissions, with more than 200 leads produced.
